“No Fine Print” Policy for Policyholders

The Insurance Control Commission is an independent regulatory authority in charge of maintaining an efficient and stable insurance market in Lebanon. It achieves this by protecting the interests of policyholders and other stakeholders from eventual unfair market practices, thus enhancing public confidence in the sector.

Overview

After exploring a number of creative directions, we found that the best approach for getting ICC’s message to insurance policyholders in Lebanon in a friendly and comprehensive way is to employ colorful, illustration-based animations. This entailed creating the character of Amin, an ICC expert who sheds light on ICC’s role and goals.

The minute-long animations will be broadcast on all of the television channels in Lebanon, as well as ICC’s social media presence. This outreach aims to arm policyholders, young and old, with the knowledge to combat insurance company malfeasance in order to foster greater transparency in an economy already burdened by widespread corporate corruption.
